Sustainable and innovative: the Ventisqueros brands

Ventisqueros has been involved in salmon farming in Chile for over 30 years. Every year, the company produces around 55 thousand gross tons of salmon and maintains control over the entire process – from the eggs to the selection of the ingredients for the feed through to sales and distribution. This means that Ventisqueros can continuously improve its products and establish new brands.

BluGlacier was founded in 2016 as a US joint venture between two leading sustainable salmon producers in Chile, Blumar and Ventisqueros. Our salmon is raised in the remote cold-water fjords of Chile. Today, BluGlacier, together with Blumar and Ventisqueros, remains dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and the overall well-being of the planet through sustainable aquaculture.

SILVERSIDE PREMIUM PACIFIC SALMON

Silverside ™️ is a sustainable premium-brand salmon from the Pacific that has a rich color and delicious taste. It is fully traceable and carries certifications for ethical and sustainable aquaculture. Ventisqueros uses feed containing, among other things, AlgaPrime™️ DHA, which reduces the need for fish oil. This means that each salmon only needs to be fed 0.5 kilograms of pelagic fish. This in turn means that Ventisqueros produces more fish than it takes from the ocean.

PRISTINE

Ventisqueros breeds its Pristine Salmon in one of the purest bodies of water in the world, in the heart of Patagonia, to meet the demands of the Japanese market: Sashimi quality, 100 percent pre-rigor processing (immediately after being caught), a rich color and outstanding texture. The Atlantic salmon fillets are certified in accordance with the strict ASC and four-star BAP standards.

OSHĒN by BluGlacier

OSHĒN by BluGlacier

Ventisqueros breeds Oshēn by BluGlacier salmon in the waters of Patagonia in Chile. The sustainably farmed sushi-grade Atlantic fish is ASC, BAP, BRC and kosher certified and, like all Ventisqueros products, is free from microplastics, hormones and heavy metals. The freshest salmon in America is delivered to retailers across the USA.
