The beers brewed by the Paulaner Brewery Group are known and enjoyed all over the world. The Paulaner brewery exports more than one million hectoliters of Munich-brewed beer to over 80 countries worldwide. The group also operates brewhouses, which have their own microbreweries, the majority of which are located in Asia, and in China in particular.

The products that the Paulaner Brewery Group produces are an important part of social life. People meet for a beer, a Paulaner Spezi, a juice spritzer, celebrate, talk or just enjoy a quiet moment with each other. The group is well aware its responsibility to society as a whole and is committed to environmental protection and supports social initiatives and cultural activities. This commitment is wholeheartedly supported by all the breweries in the group.

The Paulaner Brewery Group's aim is climate neutrality and it has committed to the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS). The group saves 11,500 tons of CO₂ every year, primarily by switching to green electricity from wind, hydropower and solar sources. A significant reduction in water consumption and the recycling of waste water take us a step further in our commitment to environmental protection.

Social commitment

The Paulaner Brewery Group demonstrates its social commitment by providing support to local communities. Paulaner is the main sponsor of the Deine Isar association, which promotes treating nature with respect. The Group's Paulaner Salvator Award supports projects that improve life in Munich. Auerbräu's "Auerhahn" project is dedicated to protecting endangered species and preserving habitats in local regions.

The breweries of the Paulaner Brewery Group are an integral part of their cultural regions and actively promote cultural diversity. This ranges from supporting major music festivals and regional traditions through to cultural events. The Fürstenberg brewery, for example, serves as a partner to music festivals and local festivities in Baden-Württemberg.
